Plugin.WhiteFang34.FoliageRewrite

- Latest version: 1.0.1
On RTX 50-series GPUs, Space Engineers can crash to desktop with a graphics-device error (DXGI device-removed) whenever grass and foliage are on screen. The crash comes from the engine's original geometry-shader foliage pipeline.
Foliage Rewrite replaces that pipeline with a modern compute-shader path that draws the same grass with no geometry shader, removing the crash trigger. The result matches vanilla: the same blades, wind sway, density, and draw distance.
The settings cog exposes grass draw distance, density, and distance falloff, plus an enable toggle. Press Ctrl+F8 to switch the rewrite off and back on instantly, no restart needed.

Plugin.WhiteFang34.SmoothFrames
by: WhiteFang
- 40 total downloads
- Latest version: 1.0.4
Space Engineers updates its sim at 60 Hz, so motion looks like 60 FPS even on a 144 Hz, 240 Hz, or 360 Hz monitor — each render frame is a copy of the last sim tick. Smooth Frames interpolates the camera and nearby entities between sim ticks, so each render frame shows a distinct moment of motion. The engine's 120 FPS cap is also lifted, for users above that.
Toggle with Ctrl+F11. Configure the frame-rate cap in the plugin's settings cog (default: your monitor's refresh).
